There are many points of view from which you can build a path to interpret the history of art. For the exhibition that opens at 6 pm on Tuesday, May 27, the Galleria d'Arte Maggiore of Bologna has chosen an original 'fil rouge': the ceramics, a ductile and highly expressive material with whom many artists have confronted themselves. Each of them with his own sensitivity, style and pace. Someone has express himself exclusively with this material – you only need to think about Leoncillo - and others have approached ceramics only for a period, or in parallel with other research - such as Fontana, Matta and Arman. Franco and Roberta Calarota, the curators of the exhibition, have selected the artists and the works whichallow to highlight the key moments of the research in the field of ceramics in Italy and abroad, but at the same time, which enable to broaden the subject in order to reflect once again on the exciting evolution of art itself.
