Once again Giorgio Morandi and Giorgio de Chirico are confirmed to be the main protagonists of the Italian art on the international scene, as it is underlined by the recent exhibitions that The Metropolitan Museum of New York and the Musée d’Art Moderne de la ville de Paris have dedicated to both of them. Two undisputed representatives of the Twentieth Century of our country exhibited together today in an unique and interesting show curated by Franco and Roberta Calarota which will stimulate a new thinking on their work and will bring out new aspects of their painting. It is an original dialogue between the poetic and evocative atmosphere inside the walls of Galleria d'Arte Maggiore G.A.M. where the refined language - the perfect instrument to express the bolognese master's extraordinary lyrical essentiality - meets the stong suggestive strengh emerging from the canvas of the metaphysical painter.
