Four Bolognese galleries — Galleria d'Arte Maggiore g.a.m. by Franco and Roberta Calarota, [...] — have been selected by the strict jury of TEFAF, The European Fine Art Fair. Among seven Italian participants, they will be part of the Art Fair Exhibition in Maastricht (Netherlands), considered the most important event of its kind in the world, taking place from March 15 to 25, 2019.
"This year," emphasizes Franco Calarota, owner of Arte Maggiore, "I applied and was accepted. We will present a selection of paintings by international masters, ranging from Morandi to Magritte and, for the contemporary period, among others, a work by Franz Kline and one by Basquiat."
