Engine in the gallery: Ferrari is a spectacle

THE INAUGURATION
 
Beauty makes room for beauty, in a high-speed circuit where the pit stop is Piazza Barberini, the site of the inauguration of Open Space, a new exhibition venue open to the city and its visitors inside the Sina Bernini Bristol Hotel. The initiative is curated by the gallery Maggiore g.a.m. in collaboration with the hotel, which on this occasion welcomed Arman’s work La Grande Rampante (1999).
Taking part in the artistic debut of the space was Luca Cordero di Montezemolo, who admired the piece — an assemblage of Ferrari F40s cast in bronze, a creation inspired by the artist’s monumental work of the same name installed at the entrance to the "Enzo e Dino Ferrari" racetrack. Welcoming the former president and CEO of the Prancing Horse was Bernabò Bocca, president of Federalberghi and the Sina Hotels group, together with Alessia Calarota, head of the Galleria d’Arte Maggiore, founded by Franco and Roberta Calarota and today directed with passion by their daughter.
