presenting together two major voices of postwar Italian art, Giosetta Fioroni and Mattia Moreni, whose radically imaginative approaches to the human figure and to imagery resonate with the theme Fancy: A Flexible, Acrobatic Body. Moreni’s visionary Umanoidi hybridize the body, anticipating contemporary questions around technology, artificial intelligence, and the boundaries between human and machine. Fioroni’s celebrated Argenti move between mass-media imagery, memory, and identity. Together, their works explore the transformative power of imagination and its ability to reshape how we see the body and the world around us.
